April 2025 Astro Forecast
April is the liminal space between what was and what will be.
We are emerging out of the chaos of multiple retrogrades. We’re coming out the other end of the first eclipse season this year. For the first time in our lives, we are going to learn what Neptune in Aries feels like.
We begin the month immersed Pisces energy, especially with Mercury and Venus retrogrades holding us back. Something hasn’t quite ended. But after that intense Full Moon in Libra (12th), we start to slowly feel our way into something new.
A cycle ends. A new one begins.
This month, the planets are busy in conversation with each other. They offer us dynamic energies to plan and propel things into motion. I have my interpretations of key planetary aspects along with a PDF Calendar in the Cosmic Sanctuary membership space, which can join at any time. With this membership, you also receive monthly New Moon and Full Moon astro-tarot messages.
So let’s get into April’s highlights.
On April 7th, the same day Mercury stations Direct, we have a Venus-Saturn conjunction. Venus is still Retrograde and in an erratic flow. It’s union with Saturn brings focus to the boundaries we must assert in our relationships and financial life, especially as they relate to our values. We may need to face some difficult truths about the patterns in our life and how they’re impacting our interpersonal connections and our relationship to money. This is a big day to intentionally reflect on these things and set some goals to change your commitment to what (and who) no longer aligns with you.
On April 12th, the same day as the Full Moon in Libra, Venus stations direct, and also, the Sun and Chiron some together for their yearly conjunction. While the Full Moon holds challenging energies (collectively mostly), remember all the healing you have done thus far. The powerful energy of the Sun-Chiron conjunction will help you honor your own personal transformations, reminding you of what you are capable of in spite of your wounds and trauma. If this day feels tender, lean into self-compassion. If rage surfaces, find an outlet to express it, not suppress it.
The last half of April holds a steady forward movement. We’re being called into aligned action in a more rooted way that wasn’t quite available to us since the beginning of this year. By the end of the month, Mercury, Venus and Mars will all be in fire signs, while the Sun in Taurus serves as a tether to root our decisions, explorations, and actions towards sustainable outcomes.
You may feel the energetic discord of the 20th to the 26th, just before that grounding and promising New Moon in Taurus. That’s due to the Sun’s square to Mars (20th) and Pluto (23th), the Venus-Saturn conjunction (24th) and Mars’ opposition with Pluto (26th). Each of these aspects, in their own unique way, are nudging us into reclaiming our power. There may be an overwhelming sense of restriction during this time and emotional heaviness. It will have us reflecting on the burden of responsibility, the pressure of societal inequities, or the weight of the current economic turbulence on our life. We may be forced to confront the power-control dynamics in our relationships, perhaps an abusive situation or pattern we need to change. The key lies in your openness and willingness to be honest with yourself, while holding compassion. There is an opportunity here to reset or redirect the path you’re on through self-awareness.
The New Moon in Taurus on the 27th is a great day to set tangible and pragmatic intentions around where you want to direct your energy. Reflect on what the last few months brought up with Mars, Venus and Mercury’s retrogrades. Reflect on your relationship to control and power, especially when it comes to defining success in finances and relationships. Set your intentions in reflection of everything that has come up since the beginning of this year.

Farewell to Neptune in Pisces
Neptune is about to wrap up its 14-year stay in Pisces soon on March 30th and enter Aries for the next 14 years.*
Neptune’s passage through Pisces has been complicated. It’s inspired artistic expression, emotional healing, and spiritual awakening. It has also cast a thick fog over us, ramping up escapism, spiritual bypassing, and delusional thinking.
Neptune is the planet of spirituality, the subconscious and dreams. For the last 14 years, it’s felt at home in the mystical and ethereal Pisces. Together they have honed in on healing, the intuitive arts, and spiritual growth.
During this time, we’ve seen the popularization of health and wellness, and all things woo. While this has been immensely helpful in some ways, there has also been the shadow side of this planetary transit that amplified collective harm in irreparable ways.
Neptune and Pisces together have blurred the lines between reality and fantasy, leading us towards escapism- mirroring anything from addictive behaviours to unrealistic fantasies and straight-up avoidance of the issues we need to face (whether it be personal or collective).
This escapism has partly helped some of us seek refuge from uncomfortable truths, bringing temporary relief through a false sense of comfort. At their extreme though, some of these avoidant tendencies have led to fantastical narratives and conspiracy theories that have distorted reality to the point of harm.
We saw this reach wild levels during the pandemic with the rise of misinformation regarding c-vid and the anti-vxx movement. While it’s understandable to be critical of our societal institutions and call-out systemic corruption, it’s an entirely different thing to mistrust everything, even if the facts show otherwise.
But this is the thing about Neptune in Pisces, it has made truth subjective. There are no longer the necessary boundaries that keep truthful information intact. Trained and learned professionals are no longer trusted while influencers have become expert sources. Anyone can now hold expertise on topics that require diligent study, especially in the realm of health and wellness. There is no accountability regarding the information being shared, and on who is sharing it.
This breakdown of trust in the information we receive, and by those we receive it from, this continual questioning to the point of paranoia, has also been exacerbated by the intentional spread of propaganda. Neptune in Pisces has played a major role in the current psychological warfare we are experiencing, making it hard to know what and whom to trust anymore. Which in turn, has led to the rise of false prophets, phony healers, grifters, and self-interested leaders.
Not all info is to be trusted- especially by those self-proclaiming expert status or manipulating us into following their version of “truth.” And while it’s easy to point fingers at institutions and the system, it’s been harder to do the same with regular folks, those who use their charisma and savvy words to sell you their narrative. This could be anyone from your favourite wellness “guru,” a religious leader, social media influencer, or a neighbor down the street.
Back in April of 2022, Jupiter conjoined Neptune, marking the beginning of the peaking point of this chaos-inducing transit. And here we are now. With the election of the Orange Man, and the scary circus that is the current U.S. administration, we are amidst a whirlwind of confusion. Things feel upside down and downright unreal.
And while Pluto in Capricorn showed us the truth of our systems and structures, Neptune in Pisces led many of us down an illusory path. But now with its ending, we will soon find ourselves amidst the harshest of reality checks. Neptune in Aries will prove to be quite a different moment for us collectively. Stay tuned for more on it soon.
Neptune is now in its crucial, final (anaretic) 29th degree. We shall see what the rest of this March holds for us, given Neptune’s opposition to the Lunar Eclipse on the 14th, as well as its conjunction to both Mercury and Venus Retrogrades on March 27th and 29th.
This is a pivotal moment when each of us is being asked to lean into truth and facts from a heart-centered and grounded place. This is not an easy ask right now, but it’s a necessary one. It requires self-awareness of our personal shadows and our collective ones. It needs the type of pause and reflection that this fast-paced world of ours doesn’t encourage. It means being curious, allowing for multiple truths, and moving away from binary thinking. It means consciously engaging with the world around us, grounding our dreams in reality and seeking constructive ways to address our personal and collective challenges. It means cultivating open dialogue, embracing accountability, and promoting emotional resilience.
In these uncertain times, may we balance the ethereal with the tangible, may we lean into practical magic, and make our way forth with clarity and intention.

*Neptune’s retrograde brings it back into Pisces for a short stint from Oct 22 to Jan 26, 2026.
March 2025 Astro Forecast
We’re finally here. The month that will change the course of our lives in a significant way. March’s trajectory-shifting portal is already wide open, but hard to “see” with all the chaos around us. You will likely not notice the important changes happening within you right away, but trust me, they are happening.
This is not a typical March, nor will it be the usual Equinox energy. It will feel more emotionally volatile as Pisces and Aries bring us endings and new beginnings in some major way. We have a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (14th) opposing the Pisces stellium, and the final Aries eclipse (29th). Venus and Mercury retrogrades begin in Aries and back-up into Pisces. PHEW.
The turbulence of this month will make things feel unclear, murky and activating.
AND also, this month is an opportunity to cultivate resiliency by strengthening faith in self (and the divine), embracing patience, holding compassion for self and others, and leaning into hope.
We are being nudged to let go of control and stop fixating on details. We are growing our connection to Higher Consciousness, the realm of the unseen, and sharpening our spiritual tools because they are going to guide this part of our journey and help us along the way.
So as the energetic hurricane storms, find your quiet pond and swim in there, deep beneath the water, letting it drown out the external noise and keep you safe in your inner sanctuary. Emotional intelligence and intuition will be your guiding light this month.
Needless to say, this is not a month to make important decisions or major commitments. We are more likely to take rash action and be impulsive, even conflictual. Be sure to think things through carefully. The more self-aware you are about your impulses, triggers and emotions, the less likely you are to rush into things.
There are positive and harmonious planetary energies throughout the month to soften the edges of our experiences. It’s not all mayhem. The Venus and Mercury cazimis on the 22nd and 24th support aligned action despite the retrogrades. If there are good days this month to make an important decision or launch a new project this month, it would be then.
One of the biggest events of this year happens this month as Neptune ingresses into Aries after 14 years of being in Pisces! This is a huge energy shift as Neptune’s ethereal, spiritual (and illusory) energies take on a more bold, action-oriented and assertive nature in Aries. This is a spiritual warrior, authentic healer, creative visionary energy. Neptune is only in Aries until Oct 22, 2025 since its July retrograde moves it back into Pisces one last time until Jan 26, 2026. For now, we will be getting a 7-month taste of what’s to come for the longer haul from 2026 to 2038.
