Today, the Waning Gibbous Moon changes from Virgo to Libra (11:45 am ET). The overwhelming sense of control and need for clarity gives way to a desire for balance and harmony. The challenges of self-critical thinking can be soothed by letting go of expectations. The Waning Gibbous phase is as much about gratitude as it is about gentle reflection. This isn’t the time to over-exert or start new projects. We are sitting with what already is.

The Moon makes many aspects today, having both challenging and easeful conversations with various planets. It trines to both Jupiter and Pluto- a reminder that keeping an open mind helps us cultivate the inner harmony we need to make our decisions from a grounded place.

The Moon’s square to Mars Retrograde and opposition to Venus is about our values shaping our actions. But the energies are telling us that sometimes our values may not align with the decisions we are forced to make. How do we navigate this dissonance? And are we doing it from a place of self-compassion or judgement?
