Solar Eclipse- Saturday, March 29, 2025

Today’s New Moon in Aries is in fact an eclipsed one! A Solar Eclipse is simply an amplified New Moon. And this one exacts at 6:58 am EST today.

This Solar Eclipse is actually from the previous eclipse series (Aries-Libra), which began in April of 2023. Think about 2 years ago. What’s changed about you and your life?

So much of these eclipse story between Aries and Libra was about self versus others. About our compromises, our needs and desires. About our relationships, and how we assert ourselves in them. About our identity and sense of belonging as our authentic self.

All the growth and challenges of the last two year is coming to a culmination with today’s eclipse. A portal opens a new path to a more aligned version of our truest self, with more aligned relationships that honor us for who we are. We are closing the door on what no longer serves our greater good. We will not be revisiting this eclipse series for another 18 years, where we will have another period of growth along similar themes.

As with any ending an New Beginning, there will be some emotionality. Given the Retrograde energies of Mercury and Venus having entered Pisces, expect some emotional intensity, whether today or in the coming days. These are ego-connected emotions of our shadows needing a safe space to surface and be released. They are likely related to grief, loss of control, and unexpressed rage. Be kind to yourself. Allow for your emotions to simply be as they are.

Thankfully, after the occurrence of the eclipse, the New Moon sextiles Jupiter. This aspect holds promise and optimism. Try to bask in this energy to amplify some ease and hope.
